ABOUT ME

I am a 2019 graduate of Saint Joseph's University. As an undergraduate, I majored in elementary education with a concentration in Linguistics. During her years at Saint Joseph's, I participated in the Philadelphia Service Immersion Program and volunteered as a tutor with the CLYDE Youth Resource Center. I gained my experience in education through my fieldwork in various charter schools, catholic schools and public schools throughout Philadelphia.

I graduated with a master's degree in Special Education and Social Emotional Wellness through the Alliance for Catholic Education at Saint Joseph's University in May 2021. Throughout this program, I served in an urban catholic school as a second grade teacher. I spent much of my day focusing on mindfulness practices with my students.

Throughout my experiences, I decided to create this website to help educators realize the importance of mindfulness and how it can be used day to day.
